Quick post!

I wanted to share this on Sunday but I haven't been able .. Saturday night I prayed and prayed that Joann's would have their big sale on paper this week where it's 5 sheets for $1 so I could stock up and make a ton of cards for the kids at St. Judes.. I woke up Sunday and looked and there it was..Even though I know Joann's made their ad weeks in advance.. It was such a blessing. Thank You Lord!

On Monday I received  my new stamps from " SCRAPPY MOMS"  I just want to say their stamps are AWESOME!! Such high quality  stamps for an amazing price!  I highly recommend them! The stamp shown below is from the " Sweet Somethings" set . AND EXTREMELY FAST SHIPPING!

With this card I just kinda made it up as I went along with out a plan and just hoped for the best.. trying to get outside of my "craft shell" and add more embellishments and different types ...  So i thought a pre-made ribbon and brads would be a good touch! ( Am I the only one who has a hard time trying new things like this?)

             Ingredients 

5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card stock

 Owl and Branch from Create A Critter

The  Green and Orange  card stock are from DCWV ( sorry not sure which stacks! )

Pastel brads

Yellow pre-made ribbon from Wal-mart

White gel pen for stitching

And Stickles for the eyes and feet!

You're Tea-riffic!

( Before i start I just want to say sorry for the lack of posts i've been having computer issues)

So I have this really cool stamp set from fiskars and FINALLY got to use it!!It's all about  teas and coffee! ( I think i paid $5 for it after a 50% off coupon at Joanns!) I worked not this card all day trying to get it right and position it exactly how i wanted it..I really like the bright colors!

Ingredients :

The teapot was cut from " Once upon a Princess" 

The Scallop was from "Accent Essentials" 

The pretty swirly paper is a part of the "SWEET stack" from DCWV!

All solid color paper is Core'dinations paper.

The tea bag and handle  are actually white card stock that i chalked all over with " Peebles Shimmer Chalk"

White Gel pen for stitching

Blue and polka dot ribbon!

Connected the tea bag and handle with black thread

Stickles!! ( of course)

Pop dots!

Rhinestones

This whole time I never realized Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx sold scrapbooking and card making items until i saw some girls on Facebook talking about it!!
